With a thought, the familiar semi-transparent panel appeared before Lucian’s eyes.
Using Aldric’s resources, his cultivation had finally reached the peak of Foundation Establishment.
The Spiritual Energy in his body had completely liquified. The Energy flowed through his meridians like liquid fire.
At this moment, his Dao Platform’s size reached its peak with 199 cm!
This astonished him as according to his break through patterns, it was supposed to be 179cm. But his last break through to 9th stage had fundamentally changed this.
Compared to before, his strength had increased dramatically. He estimated he could now easily defeat his previous self at the 8th stage within few heartbeats.
Furthermore, all of the petals of the Dao Lotus had fully bloomed, revealing a beautiful golden core.
Now that he was only a distance away from forming his Golden Core, he could finally feel the oppressive restriction of the Secret Realm bearing down on him, preventing him from breaking through.
With a final deep breath, he stopped his cultivation and opened his eyes. He then shifted his gaze towards Iris, who was meditating next to him in a cross-legged position.

Lucian couldn’t help but click his tongue in wonder every time he read Iris’s information. She was truly a heaven-defying genius, blessed with incredible Innate Fates. Her potential seemed limitless.
If she was already this powerful, he couldn’t help but wonder about his mother-in-law.
No wonder her mother wanted to hide their race from the world. Their talents would make them the perfect Dual Cultivation partners.
Countless powerful cultivators would surely target her if word got out. They would stop at nothing to have them.
Then he gathered his thoughts and closed her information panel. He stood up and went to a corner of the cave.
Lucian waved his hand and two large beast corpses appeared before him. They were Foundation Establishment realm beasts he had hunted earlier.
Though his cultivation had advanced greatly, Lucian had not yet attained the ability to sustain himself solely on spiritual energy.
While fasting pills could sustain him, nothing beat the taste of real meat.
He set about cleaning and preparing the beasts. Soon, chunks of meat were laid out, ready for cooking.
Lucian gathered some dry branches and leaves from outside. With a flick of his fingers, a small flame was ignited. He seasoned the meat with some spices also from his ring, then skewered the chunks on thin metal rods.
As the meat sizzled over the fire, a mouth-watering aroma filled the cave. Iris’ nose twitched and she opened her eyes, drawn by the smell.

The Core area of the Secret Realm was vastly different from the outer and inner areas.
Here, Qi Gathering Stage Cultivators couldn’t even move as a heavy Spiritual Pressure bore down on them. Only those at the middle and peak of Foundation Establishment could move with less difficulty.
Right now, in a vast open area, nearly a hundred cultivators sat cross-legged on the ground in a small groups, meditating.
The majority were at the foundation establishment level, but there were also a few Qi gathering stage cultivators among them.
Although they couldn’t enter, they had gathered here to follow their senior brother’s lead and also to watch a good show.
In front of them was a wall made of swirling mist.
The mist wall stretched as far as the eye could see, towering high into the sky.
This was the border that separated the core area from the rest of the Secret Realm. Only by passing through it could one truly enter the heart of this Secret Realm.
The Fifth and Seventh Princes were also present among the gathered cultivators, conversing quietly. Their brows furrowed with an icy expression as they spoke.
The Fifth Prince had a handsome face with sharp features, his eyes glinting with coldness. He leaned in close to his brother and whispered, “Are you sure?”
The Seventh Prince replied in an equally cold tone, his expression grim, “Yes. My people told me that they saw Iris with a white-haired guy. And from the looks of it, they seem… quite close.”
He deliberately paused and emphasized the last word. Despite his cold voice, he had a sly grin in his eyes.
The Fifth Prince’s eyes narrowed, “So are you suggesting Iris isn’t with that Prince but another guy?”
“It seems so,” the Seventh Prince nodded, “My men described the white-haired cultivator as young and handsome. They were seen together multiple times, always looking… intimate.”
The Fifth Prince’s face darkened, “That explains why I…we haven’t been able to find her. She’s been with this mysterious cultivator.”
“Indeed,” the Seventh Prince agreed.
But inside, he felt contempt as he knew this brother of his liked Iris. Continue your saga on My Virtual Library Empire
In the Royal Family, such matters were not uncommon. But he couldn’t understand why Fifth Prince was so obsessed with Iris. He also knew that his brother came out of his closed door meditation just to kill that Silver Moon Empire’s Prince here.
The Fifth Prince could sense his younger brother’s thoughts clearly. Yet, he just smirked inwardly.
‘Brother, if only you knew the true value of Iris,’ he thought to himself,
“Who is this white-haired cultivator? Which sect is he from?” Fifth Prince asked.
Seventh Prince shook his head, “My men couldn’t find out his information. He seems to have appeared out of nowhere.”
Suddenly, a thin young man appeared behind the Seventh Prince and said, “Your Highness, Princess has finally come. Look over there.”
He intentionally did not lower his voice, so Fifth Prince could also hear him.
Both Princes’ eyes followed the direction pointed by his servant.
At the edge of the open field, they noticed two figures approaching – a young man with white hair and a stunningly beautiful woman.
At this moment, Lucian and Iris had arrived, observing the scene before them.
His eyes swept across the crowd, noting the various cultivation levels present. Most were at Foundation Establishment, with a few Qi Gathering disciples mixed in.
As they drew closer, Lucian suddenly furrowed his brows. He sensed multiple Qi Senses trying to scan him.
With a thought, he extended his own Qi Sense, dispersing the invasive energy.
Then he looked into the distance, noticing the other two Royal Family members he had seen with Iris before entering the Secret Realm were coming towards them.
He knew from their previous actions that they were up to no good.
Iris also noticed where Lucian was looking. She too frowned and sighed inwardly as she saw them approach.
Before long, the two Princes and their followers approached and stood before Lucian and Iris.
The commotion naturally caught the attention of those nearby.
Among them was Marcus, who raised an eyebrow at the scene unfolding before him.
Next to him, a red-haired man chuckled and asked, “Isn’t that your nephew over there? He seems to have grown stronger. Hmm! Wait, is that Princess Iris standing next to him?”
The red-haired man’s eyes widened as he noticed Iris. A lecherous grin spread across his face as he said, “Come now, Marcus. Let’s join the fun.”
Meanwhile, the Fifth Prince stepped forward, a cold smile on his face.
“Iris, we’ve been looking for you. And who might this be?” He gestured towards Lucian.
“Whoever he is has nothing to do with you,” She snorted and replied coldly.
Lucian chuckled at her fiery response. He found her feisty attitude quite sexy and amusing.
The Fifth Prince’s face twisted with rage. He suddenly shouted, “You dare laugh at us, commoner? Do you know who we are?”
His hand reached for the sword at his waist!
However before he could do anything more, a loud rumbling sound filled the air!
The mist wall began to disperse, revealing a portal behind it!
